Women's Ministry

The goal of our women's ministry is to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the women at Solon and those of our community. Activities, studies and events are planned with this goal in mind.

Upcoming Events

  • 2020-2021...new theme, new logo

Mirror, Mirror...Seeing Ourselves More Clearly is the theme for this ministry year.  It is our desire to encourage women to truly see themselves as God see them.  Bible studies and events will take all who participate along on this journey.

  • weekly reflections

A weekly time of reflection posted on Facebook... ONE question, ONE scripture passage.  Reflect, ponder and record your thoughts.  Be sure to like us on Facebook!  Solon Center Wesleyan Women's Ministry and join the journey!

  • IF:gathering

Join us for IF:Gatheringan online live simulcast of amazing speakers, awesome worship, and discussion opportunities.  Friday evening, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th.  Friday night's session begins @ 7 PM and Saturday's session is from 9 am to 4 pm.

How is IF:Gathering offered during Covid-19?
    1. We will create comfortable socially distanced areas at the church, continuing safe practices.
    2. And/or we will provide you a link to watch in your home where you can invite "your people". Guidelines for a home watch are simple...get the link up and running and make the people in your home feel comfortable and welcome…that's it!
Our goal is that many are enriched by this event no matter how they participate, and NO ONE WATCHES ALONE!

All women who plan to take advantage of this precious time will need to register in advance. The Cost is $10 and includes lunch on Saturday.  Click HERE

to register online or register in person at the church.

Men's Ministry

The goal of the men's ministry is to provide men with the resources to develop Godly character and help equip them to influence their world for Jesus Christ.

"But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness."

1 Timothy 6:11
